Belgium achieved a comfortable victory against Bosnia (4-0) in the Russia 2018 qualifiers. The Spaniard Roberto Martinez's team scored an own goal by Emir Spahic and a second goal by Eden Hazard in the first half, and sealed the victory in the second half with goals from Toby Alderweireld and Romeu Lukaku.

The "Red Devils" did not notice the absence of Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne due to injury and dominated the Bosnians from start to finish, achieving their first victory as hosts under the direction of Roberto "Bob" Martinez.

The result puts Belgium at the top of Group H, with two victories in two matches (Cyprus and Bosnia and Herzegovina), tied in points with Greece, who defeated Cyprus 2-0 tonight.

Belgium started the match at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels with an initial 4-2-3-1 formation, which soon transformed into a three-man defense with the injury of Jordan Lukaku in the 20th minute. Lazio's defender was replaced by Laurent Ciman, causing Jan Vertonghen to shift to the left wing in the defense, completing the lineup with Toby Alderweireld.

The Belgians, who were booed a month ago at what was formerly known as the Heysel Stadium in Martinez's debut as coach in a friendly against Spain (0-2), regained the confidence of their fans on a night where the Belgian central defender Nicolas Lombaerts, left the concentration to attend the birth of his child.
