Sol de América from Paraguay qualified for the next round of the Copa Sudamericana after defeating the local team Wilstermann on penalties (5-4) after the regular time ended in a 1-1 draw, in a match played this Thursday at the Cochabamba stadium.

In the first leg, these teams also drew 1-1 (aggregate score 2-2), which is why there was a penalty shootout to determine the winner.
In regular time, Brazilian player Thomaz scored for the local team at the 48th minute, but Isaac Díaz scored for the Paraguayan team Sol de América at the 55th minute, leveling the score.
The visitor turned the game in their favor after starting hesitant and imprecise. Wilstermann, who had a good initial 20 minutes influenced by Thomaz, lost control as the match progressed.

The Paraguayan team will arrive in the next few hours to the city of Santa Cruz (east), located 400 meters above sea level, where they will prepare during the day and will travel to Cochabamba, 2,558 meters above sea level, hours before the match.
Sanguinetti traveled to Bolivia along with a delegation of 20 players, including Sol de América captain Cristian Sosa, who was absent in the previous match. Due to Sosa's return, the Argentine coach will have to choose between midfielders Blas Díaz and Yonathan Samaniego for the starting lineup.
