The sports director of West Ham, David Gold, has stated that they want the Frenchman to stay for next season.
The West Ham is aware that Dimitri Payet is one of the best players in Euro 2016 and that this situation will attract some of the best teams in the world to acquire his services.
However, the sports director of the 'hammers', David Gold, has made it clear that they have no intention of selling him and will only accept an offer if they have no other option because the offer comes from teams like Real Madrid or Barcelona.
"We will fight tooth and nail to ensure that Dimitri wears a claret and blue shirt next season. We want to improve the team and Dimitri is an integral part of what we are trying to do. But we also have to be realistic, if Barcelona or Madrid make an offer and he wants to go there, it will be difficult to keep him," he admitted in 'The Sun'.
