The coach of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Laurent Blanc, has terminated his contract for two more seasons with the French capital club, leaving the door open for the arrival of the Spanish coach Unai Emery.
According to that newspaper, Laurent Blanc, who has been in charge of PSG since 2013, will receive that amount as compensation for the remaining of his contract with the Parisian club.
In February, Blanc extended his contract with PSG for two more seasons and in the second half of the season, he won the league title again and also the French Cup.
However, PSG once again stumbled in the Champions League, where the former French international coach failed to lead his team past the quarterfinals against Manchester City.
According to the French sports press, the favorite to replace him on the bench is the Spanish coach and former Sevilla coach, Unai Emery, who has already been replaced at the Andalusian club by the Chilean Jorge Sampaoli.
