How much is the Winter Bonus worth?
This contribution is $60,000 Chilean pesos, it is provided to help the elderly, especially those who receive a pension equal to or less than $201,677 pesos.
When is the Winter Bonus delivered?

How is the Winter Bonus paid?
The method of payment for the economic support is according to the choice made by the retiree. That is, deposit into a RUT account or by going in person to the places determined by the government (the elderly person has a period of one year to do this).
Who receives the Winter Bonus?
- Pensioners of the Social Security Institute, the Labor Security Institute, the Pension Funds, and Employer Mutualities established by Law No.16,744, whose pensions are below or equal to the minimum old-age pension value of article 26 of Law No.15,386, for pensioners aged 75 or older at the time of benefit payment.
- Pensioners of the system established by Decree Law No.3,500, of 1980, who are receiving minimum pensions with state guarantee, in accordance with Title VII of said law.
- Pensioners of the system established by the aforementioned Decree Law who are receiving a solidarity old-age pension contribution, whose pensions are below or equal to the minimum old-age pension value of article 26 of Law No.15,386, for pensioners aged 75 or older at the time of benefit payment.
- Beneficiaries of the guaranteed universal pension, provided they are not entitled to another pension in any pension system.
- Pensioners of any pension system who, in addition, are receiving a guaranteed universal pension and whose pensions are below or equal to the minimum old-age pension value of article 26 of Law No.15,386, for pensioners aged 75 or older at the time of benefit payment (Information from the Government of Chile).
