UEFA Euro 2016: Germany announced their final squad without Marco Reus [VIDEO]

Martes 31 de Mayo del 2016

Due to a physical issue, Marco Reus was sidelined by Germany for Euro 2016 in France.

Germany captain Bastian Schweinsteiger called up, but not Marco Reus, in the list of 23 players for the Eurocopa Francia 2016, announced this Tuesday German selector Joachim Löw, in Ascona (Switzerland).

"It is clear (that the two players, Schweinsteiger and Mats Hummels) are ready for the tournament," said Löw, when the German captain was doubtful due to a knee injury. Marco Reus had problems in the adductors.

For Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus, considered the best offensive asset of the German team and who also missed the World Cup two years ago, "the prognosis is not good and for medical reasons I had to leave him out," said Löw.
