The 2022/23 season of the UEFA Champions League will conclude at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul on Saturday, June 10, 2023. The final will start at 2:00 PM in Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador.
WHERE WILL THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL 2022-23 BE PLAYED?
Built to support Turkey's candidacy for the 2008 Olympic Games, the Ataturk Olympic Stadium is the field where the Turkish national team plays its matches. Located in the Başakşehir district, west of the Bosphorus, it has a capacity of over 75,000 seated spectators.
HOW CAN I GET TICKETS FOR THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL?
As usual, tickets for the final are being distributed among the fans of the participating teams and the general public. A total of 47,200 tickets, out of a total of 72,000, are directly available to fans and the general public. The two teams that reach the final will receive 20,000 tickets each. The sales and allocation process for tickets reserved for fans of the finalists will be organized by the participating clubs.
The application period for tickets for the general public opened on UEFA.com from Friday, April 21 to Friday, April 28. A draw will be held to allocate these tickets. The remaining tickets are for the local organizing structure, UEFA and national federations, commercial partners, and operators.
HOW WILL THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL BE PLAYED?
If the result is tied at the end of regular time, an extra time of two periods of 15 minutes each will be played. If one team scores more goals than the other during extra time, that team is declared the winner.
If the score remains tied after extra time, the winners are determined by penalty shootouts.
