Brazil eliminated from the 2022 Qatar World Cup by Croatia
The defeat of the Verdeamarela concluded with Tite's departure as the coach of the Brazilian team.
The 60-year-old strategist ended his contract with the Scratch and decided to step aside once the World Cup was over. After his departure was confirmed, two names were mentioned as possible replacements: 'Pep' Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti.
In the face of these rumors, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) released a strong statement regarding the next coach of Brazil.
"The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) publicly reiterates that the president of the organization, Ednaldo Rodrigues, has not appointed or authorized anyone from the confederation (vice presidents, directors, executives, or employees) or from outside the confederation (presidents of federations or club leaders) to seek, on behalf of the Presidency, any coach or football professional to join the team that will work with the Brazilian national men's football team," it says categorically.

Likewise, the CBF made it clear on the date when the new coach of Brazil will be announced, whose goal will be to achieve the long-awaited 'hexa': it will be in January 2023.
"I don't even talk to my family about it. Therefore, no director or employee of the CBF is authorized to talk about the future of the national team. Anyone who speaks about this will not be telling the truth, besides harming the work of the press and misinforming the fans," expressed Ednaldo Rodrigues.
