Around 10,000 people celebrated the 'Canarinha' qualifying for the quarterfinals of the World Cup.

Thousands of fans in Bangladesh blew vuvuzelas to celebrate Brazil's victory against South Korea in the 2022 World Cup in Daca.

Many of the attendees wore yellow or blue shirts on a windy night to join the crowd that watched the early morning game presented on three giant screens at Daca University in the center of the capital.

According to organizers, there were 10,000 people, including street vendors and public transportation tricycle drivers, watching the match in which Brazil defeated South Korea 4-1 in the round of 16 of Qatar 2022.

Mohammad Rubel, a 35-year-old fruit vendor, claimed to be a Brazil fan since the 2002 World Cup.

"I have supported Brazil all my adult life. This could be Neymar's last World Cup, they're playing very well," he declared to AFP while opening a green coconut for a customer.

Monir Hossain, 24, claims he walked eight km to watch the match with his friends because of Neymar's presence.

"They're playing incredible football," he said.

The university woke up with the sound of vuvuzelas that resonated when Vinicius Junior scored the first goal in the 7th minute.

Student Disha Moni said she was excited to see her team's victory.

Hundreds of people cycled through the empty streets of Daca in the early morning with Brazilian flags after the victory.

Argentina also has a huge number of supporters in the South Asian country.

The obsessive support for Brazil began in the 1980s when great players like Zico, Socrates, and Falcao wore the 'Verdeamarela' shirt.
