Iker Casillas dedicated words to Cristiano Ronaldo: "He has the ability to play at the highest level."

Cristiano Ronaldo is in the eye of the storm due to powerful statements during an interview with Piers Morgan, where he attacks the coach and executives of Manchester United. After those words, the club removed the image of the forward from the exteriors of Old Trafford.

However, Iker Casillas, a legend of Spain and Real Madrid, came out in defense of Cristiano Ronaldo. Through his social networks, the former goalkeeper pointed out that the player can still play at a high level league.

"When people talk about Cristiano, they can't forget so quickly what he has done. If he wants, I can remind him. Also, he will keep doing much more! I would always like to have him on my team. He has what it takes to play at the highest level. He is extraordinary," he wrote on his Twitter account.

It is important to mention that Casillas and Ronaldo shared a team at Real Madrid from the 2009-2010 season until the 2014-2015 season.
