Arturo Vidal couldn't even stand up: that's how he ended up at the Flamengo celebrations.

The Flamengo season ended last Saturday, with a 1-2 defeat against Avaí, at home, on the final matchday of the Brasileirao. Although there was another loss for 'Mengao', nothing stopped the celebration scheduled for winning the Copa Libertadores 2022 and the Copa de Brasil. Precisely, the celebrations had Arturo Vidal as the protagonist, who enjoyed it to the fullest.

During the early hours of Sunday, the Flamengo team took to the streets of Rio de Janeiro aboard a bus, with the trophies they won this season. The fans, who filled the streets, accompanied the scene with enthusiastic chants.

At that moment, the Flamengo players took the opportunity to greet the fans and Arturo Vidal did not miss it. However, the 'King' showed the effects of the celebration, and his appearance went viral: he climbed on a railing with the help of some people, drank water, and after a few seconds, due to fatigue and other factors, he fell exhausted into the arms of his companion.

Remember that during his time at 'Mengao', the 35-year-old midfielder showed that he is still in top form and participated in 15 appearances in the Brasileirao, scoring two goals; while he played six matches in the Copa de Brasil, where he was champion, and five in the Libertadores, a tournament he also won.

Arturo Vidal and his continuity with Chile

"I think the time has come, Chile, to decide what's best for everyone," Arturo Vidal wrote in an enigmatic Instagram post. Likewise, he opened a poll on the mentioned social media platform, asking "Should I retire from the national team or not?", so that his followers can choose about his future as a member of the Chilean national team.

The results, which can still be modified, are currently close: 54% of the fans voted for the 'King' not to retire, while 46% want the midfielder to stop playing for the 'Roja'. For now, the player has not commented on the matter again.
