Former football player 'Paco' Bazán recalled anecdotes from his career as a football player in a recent interview with ex-player Luis Guadalupe. Additionally, the television presenter recounted all the times players called him to criticize his acid comments on his show "El deportivo".
Something that has characterized Francisco Bazán during his time as a presenter is being straightforward and direct. With that style, the former goalkeeper of Universitario has had numerous altercations with various lovers of the beautiful game, including football players, former players, and journalists.
In the second part of the interview he granted to 'Cuto's' show, the popular 'Pepón' gave details of all the times he was verbally confronted for his criticisms on live television.

Bazán mentioned that Christian Cueva called him one day, during the Copa América, to criticize him because he had called 'Aladino's' friends 'ticks' for recording him at a gathering, apparently with a few drinks too many.
"One day a video came out of him, drunk and asleep with friends. He went to Barrunto with a group of girls and they filmed him. At first, I was angry, that they peck at him. So, organically, I got indignant and said that his friends are ticks that suck his blood. On top of exposing him, they ridicule him," he revealed.
"I said that on a Monday. Then, on a Tuesday, during the Copa América in Brazil 2019, I received a call from an international number, all zeros—I remember. I answer and hear, 'Hey, man, you're an a**hole. How can you say that my friends are ticks if they buy their own drinks?' 'Aladino' was really outraged," the television presenter recounted.
After the call, Bazán explained to Cueva the purpose of his message and advised him to surround himself with trustworthy people and take care of his image. "I know you do your show, man, but tone it down," is what 'Cuevita' would have said, according to the television presenter.
