Today, Tuesday, August 23, Diriangén will host Comunicaciones for the second leg match of the Concacaf League round of 16, the second most important tournament at the club level in the confederation. The match will take place at the Cacique Stadium starting at 8:30 PM in Nicaragua and Guatemala, and at 9:30 PM in Peru.
Both teams face each other again for a spot in the quarter-finals of the tournament, although the Nicaraguan team has the advantage after defeating the Guatemalans 1-0 in the first leg. The only goal of the match was scored by Ramiro Peters at the 34th minute of the first half.
Diriangén arrives after a 0-0 draw with Export Sébaco in the Nicaraguan League and is currently second in the standings, while Comunicaciones comes from a 2-2 draw with Municipal and is in eighth place in the Guatemalan First Division.
