Coke Hevia shoots for the goalkeeper's soap opera at Universidad de Chile:

Jorge "Coke" Hevia criticized the way the top executives of Azul Azul imposed the new reinforcement of Universidad de Chile, overriding the sports director and the coach, who were betting on other players.

University of Chile is about to announce its third signing in the transfer market, which will be goalkeeper Martín Parra, who arrives on loan from Huachipato, which caused controversy for the Azul Azul board.

This is because the sports director, Manuel Mayo, and the blue coach, Diego López, expressed their discontent with the way the name of the steel player, who was on loan in Peru, was approached.

There was even talk of a possible resignation by Mayo due to this soap opera, which ended on Wednesday after the football commission approved Parra as a reinforcement.

This is something that Coke Hevia does not agree with, who, on the Pauta de Juego program, criticized the Azul Azul executives.

"I think it's a stab in the back, a total act of bad faith, what Michael Clark and company are doing to Manuel Mayo and Diego López. You know why? Because they are playing with the opportunities of their lives," the journalist began.

"You are giving López a team that is on the ground, so if he makes it grow a little and advances, maybe he can get into a Copa Sudamericana, he can build and then have a team. You are giving Mayo one of the most important teams in Chile, and if that happens, he looks good in his evaluation," Hevia explained.

In that sense, the journalist criticizes the top brass of Azul Azul for their conduct in this case, providing support to Mayo and López.

"If they had the backs to do it, both would resign and leave. Ultimately, if you allow me to express it, 'they screwed them over.' Along the way, you vaccinated Mayo, López, and Cañete (Leandro)," he concludes.
