On the South American side, the teams that will be in the draw pots will be Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, and Uruguay, who directly qualified. While the Peruvian team will also be attentive to what happens in the FIFA ceremony, as it still has to play the playoff against Australia or the United Arab Emirates to be present in the cup.

The long-awaited draw for the group stage of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the 22nd edition of the prestigious national team event, will take place on Friday, April 1st, and will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, Qatar's capital.
