Without Neymar, Brazil, already qualified, maintained its undefeated leadership and broke the points record in the Eliminatories by crushing already eliminated Bolivia 4-0 in La Paz in the last match before Qatar 2022.

With goals from Lucas Paquetá (24), Richarlison (45, 90+1), and Bruno Guimarães (66), the 'seleção' reached 45 points in this pre-World Cup and surpassed Marcelo Bielsa's Argentina, which had accumulated 43 since the all-play-all format was used on the way to France '98.

Bolivia, on the other hand, resigned another World Cup and has known they are out of the tournament since their humiliating 4-1 defeat to last-place Venezuela in January.

BOLIVIA 0-4 BRAZIL

With three consecutive defeats and one more elimination, the Bolivian national team faces the home match trying to give their fans a win against Brazil, which will have to make some changes to the lineup that faced Chile and won 4-0 at Maracanã.

Tite, the coach of Brazil, decided to release Neymar and Vinicius Junior due to suspension from accumulating yellow cards. Both will join the training sessions of PSG and Real Madrid, respectively. It is unknown who will replace them.

Although Bolivia's match is the last one they will play in the Eliminatories, Brazil still has to face the suspended match against Argentina, which was postponed a few months ago due to protocol issues caused by the coronavirus. The match will be played on neutral ground.
