On Monday, November 29, Lionel Messi won his seventh Ballon d'Or in the 2021 edition of France Football, and it was celebrated throughout Argentina as if it were a title. However, Martín Liberman, a renowned journalist, called for calm to all the fans through social media.

"How excited they get with the Ballon d'Or! Hahaha, it makes me laugh. I understand that we celebrate the Copa America. And I clarify that for me, this is the year that Messi deserved it the most," the press man began saying on his official Twitter account.
"I'm not interested in Barcelona. He shone in the national team and it's fine. He's undoubtedly a great player. What time at the Obelisco? Calm down," he added in his tweet.
In a matter of minutes, Martin Liberman's publication generated hundreds of reactions and comments on the mentioned social network, some agreeing with him and others criticizing his message.
