Brasil and Argentina will face off this Tuesday in a new edition of the South American superclásico. This match, belonging to Matchday 14 of the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers, will be played at the Bicentennial Stadium and will have Neymar as a big absentee, who presented physical discomfort and did not travel with the rest of the squad to the city of San Juan.
The Brazilian Football Confederation indicated through a statement that PSG's player suffered pain in the adductors and left thigh on Monday morning and the coaching staff, unable to perform the respective medical tests on time, decided that he would not play against the Albiceleste.
It should be mentioned that the previous match between both teams, played on September 5th in Sao Paulo, was suspended by the Brazilian authorities. At the moment, neither FIFA nor CONMEBOL have expressed their final decision regarding what they will do with this match.

The absence of Ney joins those of Casemiro, who was cautioned against Colombia and is suspended for the South American classic; Edenilson, from Internacional de Porto Alegre, was called up in his place. Likewise, coach Tite would make two more changes in the starting lineup, as evidenced in the last training session.
The Brazilian coach removed Thiago Silva and Gabriel Jesus from the starting lineup, and replaced them with Éder Militão and Matheus Cunha. The Manchester City forward had a poor performance against the Colombians, and the entry of the Atlético Madrid striker changed the team's face. On the other hand, it is expected that Fabinho will replace the Real Madrid midfielder.
