Another absence in the Chilean National Team for the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers. Defender Francisco Sierralta, who plays for Watford, has been removed from 'La Roja' due to injury.
The Chilean Football Federation communicated through its social media that the player has been released from the triple call-up in October after the medical report on Francisco Sierralta's health status.
"The decision was made because the athlete suffered a confirmed left hamstring tear in the last match of his institution, as confirmed by a magnetic resonance imaging carried out on October 4th, whose recovery time exceeds the current call-up," stated the federation.
The defender got injured in Watford's last match against Leeds United in the Premier League.
