Marten de Roon, the Dutch player in Atalanta of Serie A, experienced an uncomfortable moment in his club's official store as he had offered his autographed jerseys but no fan approached. Similarly, this event became viral on social media because the footballer stated that Lionel Messi wouldn't have gone through this.
Through his Twitter account, De Roon invited fans to come to the store to buy jerseys with his name and he would sign them, even pay for them, but the result was terrible.
"We are at the store in Bergamo, the first person who comes to buy the jersey with my name, I will sign it and pay for it. So I hope you come soon," said the 30-year-old footballer of Serie A.
Similarly, in a 54-second video, the footballer was shown walking around the store, even playing with a puzzle while waiting for a fan who wished to acquire the jersey with his name.
