New signing for Sporting Cristal

Argentinian forward Marcos Riquelme is now a player for Sporting Cristal. He joins the team to fill the position left by his compatriot Emanuel Herrera, who recently moved to Argentinos Juniors.

Riquelme, known as 'El Pájaro', is 33 years old and comes from Bolívar, where he has scored 76 goals wearing the blue jersey of the team from La Paz.

Last season was the best for the Argentinian striker, as he finished with 20 goals in 22 matches in the Bolivian league, averaging 0.9 goals per game. This made him the top scorer of the last edition of the Bolivian league.

2013/2014: 12 goals with Fénix (third division Argentina).

2014/2016: 22 goals with Palestino (Chile).

2017: 12 goals with Audax Italiano (Chile).

2019: 3 goals with U de Chile.

2020: 26 goals with Bolívar (Bolivia).
