PAOK holds Granada CF to a draw (0-0)
Granada CF and PAOK Salonika drew this Thursday (0-0) at the Nuevo Los Cármenes Stadium, a result that allows the Spanish team to extend their unbeaten run and remain leaders of Group E in the Europa League, despite ending their winning streak.
Both teams sought victory until the end, although neither was dissatisfied with the draw in a match dominated by the home team, although PAOK pressed more in the final minutes, in which there were few goal-scoring opportunities.
Granada CF struggled to create chances
The red-and-white team dominated the match in the first half but had difficulties in creating chances against the well-organized defense of the Salonika team, as they lacked depth, speed in ball movement, and Colombian Luis Suárez was not involved in the game.
The second half followed a similar script, although Granada came close to scoring a couple of times shortly after the restart, with shots from Gonalons and Brazilian Robert Kenedy that forced Zivko Zivkovic to make saves.
