After denouncing that he had been "disrespected" both him and his board, former Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has decided to close his Twitter account.
Bartomeu used his account on this social network only for institutional messages: to welcome a signing, celebrate the teams' successes, or matters related to the entity.
In his last message, Bartomeu published in Catalan: "Today (yesterday) I have announced my resignation and that of the rest of the FC Barcelona board. It has been an honor to serve the club. Visca el Barça and visca Catalunya." EFE
