Neymar scored a penalty brace and another goal from open play to complete a hat-trick, while Richarlison added one more goal for Brazil. André Carrillo and Renato Tapia scored for Peru.

Brazil leads the qualifiers with a perfect score of 6 points, sharing the top spot with Argentina. Peru has one point, obtained in the 2-2 draw against Paraguay.
