Pirlo, who had been presented a few days ago as the new coach of Juventus' U23 team, accepted to immediately take charge of the main squad in what will be his first experience as a coach.

"In my opinion, we need to sign Isco. We are (nationally) at a different level, but we have to win the Champions League," Andrea Pirlo said in an interview with the Italian channel 'Sky Sports'.
"The midfield needs improvement and after Ronaldo was signed, it was a good feeling. But there was no real plan on how to get the ball, outstanding midfielders are needed to win the Champions League," added the new Juventus coach.
However, a transfer for Isco from Real Madrid would be very difficult, as the Spanish player, who has a contract until mid-2022, has a release clause of 700 million euros.
