Agüero undergoes knee surgery and will miss Champions League match
Agüero, 32, had to undergo surgery on June 24 in Barcelona for an injury suffered in his left knee two days earlier during the English league match against Burnley (5-0). He had to leave at halftime due to pain in that joint.
Agüero, who had been dealing with discomfort since the resumption of training, will have to continue his recovery without being able to play in the "Champions" return match, in which his club will face the Whites for a spot in the final phase of the competition at their stadium, with an advantageous score of 1-2 achieved in the first leg on February 26 at the Santiago Bernabéu.
