Quique Setién, Barcelona coach, attributed his team's draw against Celta (2-2) to the "lack of effectiveness" in converting game opportunities into goals, and warned that they have "less margin for error" each time.
"The situation is not good for us right now. It's costing us and it's weighing us down a lot because it affects your confidence and creates some nervousness because you see that scoring is difficult for us," said Setién, who believes there is "no single cause" to explain their poor away streak.
"Eleven matchdays ago, we had a two-point lead and now Real Madrid will have it over us if they win tomorrow. The reality is that every day we will have less margin for error and, in theory, we have to win everything thinking that the opponent will do the same. We will try to win all the points and we'll see if we have more efficiency in certain aspects that make things easier for us," he said.
For Setién, football has been "unfair" to Barcelona. He lamented Piqué's shot hitting the post in the early minutes and insisted that, in his opinion, the match ended in a draw due to his team's lack of accuracy.
"In the last minutes, they took a lot of risks and found that goal that gave them a point, but we shouldn't have reached that situation. In the first half, we were much better, did many things right, and should have gone to halftime with a bigger advantage," he commented.
