Congratulations to all Liverpool fans, the coach, and the players. They deserve it," said Guardiola at a press conference.
Guardiola's team fell to Chelsea this Thursday, so the English league title, the first in thirty years, went to Liverpool.
"We need to be more consistent. Two seasons ago, we had a 25-point lead over Liverpool, and the following season, they recovered. Now, we need to recover ourselves," said the Spanish coach.
"We can see that of the last ten competitions we played, we won eight, but you can't win all the time. We need to look at it from a perspective, be humble, and see that we can't win all the time. We need to learn so this doesn't happen again," he added.
