The Spanish footballer from Monaco, Cesc Fábregas, shared some good news on his social media, as he announced that his 95-year-old great-grandmother has overcome coronavirus.

"She has overcome coronavirus at 95 years old. Yesterday the test came back negative! My great-grandmother is a superhero, but none of this would be possible without the help of all the nurses and doctors who are giving their lives in every moment so that we can all be better", said the former Barcelona player on his social media.

Cesc emphasized the great work carried out by healthcare personnel to fight the pandemic that has hit Spain hard. "And to live a little better in these difficult times. Thanks to all the people from Remei de Arenys de Munt for the great sacrifice they make for these elderly people. All our respect. Nothing is impossible. Thank you", he added.

It should be noted that Marca reported yesterday that the 32-year-old forward gave up 4 months of his salary so that Monaco's workers receive their full pay.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health of Spain reported the death of 325 people, bringing the total to 24,147 deaths, 212,917 confirmed cases, and 108,947 recoveries.
