Martin Braithwaite, forward for Barcelona, arrived this season to be the substitute for Uruguayan Luis Suárez in the attack, but he has not yet managed to establish himself as a starter in the team. However, the Danish forward does not feel any less and assures that no one has yet seen his best version as a footballer and that they will soon see him in all his glory.
"(Barcelona's plan) only constitutes a third part of my training, because I have added much more to it. I train my speed and endurance. Now I train much more in detail than before, so I will return in much better physical shape. Now there is a break, I see it as an advantage. I know that no one trains and works like me," said the forward who came from Leganés in exchange for 18 million euros.
In a dialogue with the Danish public television (DR), Martin Braithwaite reaffirms that he will be a goal scorer and a starter when football resumes. "I have to be a starter and a goal scorer. When you play for Barcelona, you have so many opportunities, so there is no doubt that I see myself scoring many goals and being one of the team's top scorers and in the league. That's why I'm here," he concluded.
