Real Madrid reports on Hazard's surgery
The Real Madrid reports in a medical statement about Hazard's surgery. "Our player Eden Hazard has been successfully operated today in Dallas for a distal fracture in the right fibula. The surgery has been supervised by the Medical Services of Real Madrid. Hazard will remain under observation until receiving clinical discharge to begin his recovery."
Hazard was operated by specialist Eugene Curry at the Darrel Clinic in Dallas, after deciding with Real Madrid, following consultation with several specialists, to undergo surgery instead of conservative treatment.
After being sidelined for three months due to a hard tackle against PSG in the Champions League, the Belgian played two games after his return and got injured again on February 22 against Levante at the Ciudad de Valencia.
Once again, a similar recovery time is expected and Hazard has a difficult time returning to play in the current season with Real Madrid. His real goal is to arrive in good condition for the Euro 2020 competition with Belgium.
