Eden Hazard was injured again in Real Madrid's 1-0 loss to Levante. After being out for over two months due to an injury in his right ankle, the Belgian forward returned to the field in February but re-injured himself after only two matches.
After a series of analyses with the Real Madrid medical team, Eden Hazard decided to undergo surgery for the fracture in his right distal fibula and will travel to Dallas for it. Considering that he will be out for two to three months, he will practically not play again this season and there are doubts about his participation in the Euro 2020.
While Eden Hazard will do everything possible to recover within the established timeframe, the Belgian national team is already considering the possibility of a call-up without him. Additionally, for Real Madrid, the 29-year-old forward finishes his first season at the club with only fifteen games played and one goal scored.
