Surprisingly, the Hertha Berlin tops the list, having spent a whopping 78 million euros on signings such as Lucas Tousart and Piatek. The German team was certainly not in anyone's guessing game to lead this list of clubs that have spent the most in the market.

Following closely is Naples, which is logical considering the difficult season for the partenopeos in this exercise. According to Transfermarkt data, the podium will be completed by AS Monaco, which has also moved a considerable amount of money.
