Real Madrid loans Álvaro Odriozola to Bayern Munich
One of the most surprising moves of the winter transfer market has just been finalized, as Real Madrid has certified the loan of Álvaro Odriozola to Bayern Munich for the rest of the season.
This loan deal, without a purchase option, allows the 24-year-old defender to change scenery and find the playing time he was not getting under Zinedine Zidane. Odriozola has only played in 5 matches this season under the Madrid team, and it was clear that he was not in the plans of the French coach, with the situation not looking promising for next season either.
Now he joins Hansi Flick's team, who is the interim coach of the German team until the end of the season. Odriozola hopes to find the consistency that he has lacked at the Santiago Bernabéu.
