FC Barcelona and Juventus close in on player exchange

According to the aforementioned source, the league champion has reached an agreement with the also champion (in this case of Serie A) to complete a player swap. If it is finally certified, forward Alejandro Marqués (19 years old) will bid farewell to Barcelona and set sail for Turin.

The Brazilian midfielder Matheus Pereira, a 21-year-old player who is currently defending the Dijon colors (10 games played in Ligue 1) on loan from Vecchia Signora, will make the opposite journey and join the project of the Barcelona squad.

However, despite the operation being on the verge of closing, the player exchange will not take place until next summer, so while Alejandro Marqués will defend the colors of FC Barcelona's reserve team in the second half of the season, Brazilian Matheus Pereira will finish the season in France.
