The former FC Barcelona coach reached 100 victories in the Premier League in just 134 games, surpassing Portuguese José Mourinho, who held the record for achieving a hundred wins in 142 matches. Guardiola's remaining 34 matches in the English league consist of 17 draws and 17 losses.
"Reaching 100 victories in just 134 games, I don't know how many we lost, is an incredible achievement for this incredible institution. It's a tribute to all the players who have been here for these four years, all the staff, and all the people who made it happen. It's incredible the number of games we have won in such a short time," Pep said after Sunday's victory at the Etihad.
The coach also explained the difference between the consistency that must be maintained in a league and the knockout matches of the Champions League, a tournament he has not won since 2011 (with FC Barcelona). "One-on-one decisions are a different story, they depend on the details. A centimeter can decide if it's offside or not, and you're out. But, especially in the Premier League, we must be consistent. The whole club is delighted with this achievement."

Pep even surpasses legendary coaches like Sir Alex Ferguson of Manchester United and Arsene Wenger of Arsenal.
The list also includes names such as Jürgen Klopp (Liverpool), Claudio Ranieri (Sampdoria), and Rafael Benítez (Dalian Yifang).
