The Flamengo, Brasileirao and Copa Libertadores champion, announced its first reinforcement for the 2020 season, the striker Pedro Rocha, who played for Cruzeiro this year on loan from Spartak Moscow.
Rocha, 25, joins the team from Rio de Janeiro also on loan until December next year, with a purchase option at the end of that campaign.
"We're going all in for 2020, striving for all the titles... I'm excited to arrive, wear the sacred jersey, and bring joy to all of you," said the Brazilian player in a statement from the carioca club.
Rocha can play in different positions in the attacking line, although he usually starts from the left wing.
Formed in the modest Diadema and CA Juventus of Brazil, before making the leap to Gremio de Porto Alegre, from which he left in 2017 to join Spartak Moscow for about 12 million euros.
In 2019, he played on loan for Cruzeiro with very little luck, as the Belo Horizonte team descended for the first time in its almost 100 years of history to the Second Division of the Brazilian Championship. EFE
