Best Scorers in European Football

As is customary at Fichajes.com, we start the week with the ranking of the best goal scorers in European football. So far, Robert Lewandowski has been unstoppable. The polish player has scored 16 goals in the first 12 matches of the Bundesliga calendar with Bayern Munich, although he was unable to score in the team's victory against Fortuna Düsseldorf. However, he is surely working on his aim for the upcoming Champions League match against Estrella Roja.

Another forward who is in great form is Ciro Immobile, a well-known name in our league due to his time at Sevilla. The Italian player scored another goal in Lazio's hard-fought victory against Sassuolo, which places him with 15 goals in 13 matches. Júnior Moraes, Shakhtar Donetsk's forward, completes the podium and this week he has an interesting challenge in the Champions League at Etihad Stadium against Manchester City. The killer of the Ukrainian team has scored 14 goals in as many matches, reaching the same level as the best players in the current season and attracting interest from Serie A for a future transfer.

We must not overlook the campaign that Dieumerci Mbokani is having at Antwerp, as he has scored 13 goals in 16 matches. One step below, Timo Werner (RB Leipzig) and Jamie Vardy (Leicester) have 12 goals each in their individual scorecards. Finally, there is a four-way tie with 10 goals between 4 of the most well-known forwards in Europe: Donyell Malen (PSV's gem), Karim Benzema (Real Madrid's leader), Tammy Abraham (one of Chelsea's jewels under Frank Lampard) and Moussa Dembélé (player of Olympique Lyon who is closely followed by Manchester United).
