Cristiano Ronaldo has been in the news in recent weeks at Juventus more for his reactions when being substituted than for his performance. The way the Portuguese attacker reacts when being taken off the field has led to rumors of a supposed bad relationship with coach Maurizio Sarri, who is in his first season at the 'Vecchia Signora'.
However, in a press conference, Maurizio Sarri said he does not see Cristiano Ronaldo's behavior when being substituted as something negative. In fact, having seen so many players get upset when they are substituted, he indicated that what 'CR7' did is indifferent to him.
"I don't know about the news coming from Spain, the relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo is good. If he gets angry when I take him off the field, it can be positive, as he has a strong motivation and in that sense I think the same as Diego Simeone. I have seen many years of players leaving the field in anger, so I don't care in a certain way," he said.
Cristiano Ronaldo did not participate in the victory of Juventus against Atalanta by 3-1 in Serie A last weekend. However, the 34-year-old forward will reappear in the match against Atlético Madrid in the Champions League.
