André Carrillo is one step away from winning the Asian Champions League with Al Hilal. The forward scored the winning goal against Urawa (1-0) in the first leg of the club tournament.
The second leg will be played at the Japanese team's stadium. The return match is scheduled for Sunday, November 24th at 5:00 a.m. (Peruvian time).
Carrillo, who is not called up for the Peruvian national team's friendlies this month, has a great opportunity to lift the most important trophy in Asian club football.
Not only that, Al Hilal, the Saudi Arabian team of 'La Culebra' (Carrillo's nickname), can qualify for the Club World Cup, which will take place from December 11th in Qatar.
If Al Hilal wins the Champions League, they will face Espérance de Tunis, a team from Tunisia representing the African continent, in the quarter-finals.
