2020 Transfers: Adam Lallana tempted by the Chinese Super League and MLS to leave Liverpool [PHOTOS]

Over the years, Adam Lallana has become more of a background player in the Liverpool squad. The arrival of players like Fabinho and Naby Keita has pushed him to the substitute bench under German coach Jürgen Klopp. Now, with an uncertain outlook for the upcoming season, he is set to be a protagonist in the 2020-21 transfer market.

It turns out that the English newspaper The Telegraph indicates, in its digital and print version, that Adam Lallana has the possibility of leaving Liverpool in the short term without leaving any money for the 'reds'. The aforementioned media outlet claims that the English midfielder has offers from the Chinese Super League and the MLS, although it did not reveal the clubs involved.

It mentions that Liverpool intends to keep Lallana for at least another year at Anfield. However, the intention of the England international is to look for another destination in order to earn more minutes, and both China and the MLS are interested in him. At 31 years old, he believes he is at a level to be a starter and compete for a place against any teammate.

Klopp, they add, is considering selling him so that the current Champions League champions can benefit financially. It should be noted that his contract expires at the end of the season and in January he can negotiate with any team without asking permission from Liverpool.

On the other hand, and possibly with Adam Lallana on the substitute bench, Liverpool will face Genk on Tuesday for the fourth matchday of the Champions League. This will be followed by a tough test against Manchester City in the Premier League.
