Inter Milan and its reinforcements
The Inter Milan team has managed to strengthen its ranks to face the current season. Currently, they are in second place in Serie A, just one point behind the leader, Juventus Turin. Antonio Conte, aware that their level may drop as the matchdays progress, plans to make moves in the winter transfer market. According to Il Corriere dello Sport, their main focus will be the midfield. There have been rumors of their interest in Ivan Rakitic (31 years old) and Arturo Vidal (32 years old), players from FC Barcelona, but the club has completely dismissed those rumors.
However, there are some players who may join the Italian team for free if they try to sign them in the summer transfer market. This is because their contracts will expire in June and they have no interest in renewing with their current clubs. These players include Thomas Meunier (Paris Saint-Germain, 28 years old), Layvin Kurzawa (Paris Saint-Germain, 27 years old), and Jan Vertonghen (Tottenham, 32 years old). Inter Milan has added these names to their agenda, highlighting the month of June.
Thomas Meunier has struggled to find a place in a PSG team that is having a great season so far. Layvin Kurzawa is facing a similar situation. It is difficult to compete regularly in a squad filled with top quality players like Parisian team. Jan Vertonghen, on the other hand, wants to put an end to his bond with Spurs just like other players such as Christian Eriksen (27 years old) or Toby Alderweireld (30 years old). Inter Milan is patiently waiting and starting to get excited.
