'La Fábrica', as the youth divisions of Real Madrid are known and called, has emerged as the academy that exports the most players to the five major European football leagues (Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1) with a total of 39 academy graduates, according to the latest study by the CIES Football Observatory.

However, this recognition of 'La Fábrica' does not correspond to the current panorama of Real Madrid, which is giving little use to its own academy in the first team. According to data from CIES itself, in the current league season, players trained in the 'Casa Blanca' have only played 25.9% of the available minutes.

In fact, Florentino Pérez's new signing policy does not involve spending money on established 'galacticos' (Eden Hazard has been the only one this season), but on signing young players with great potential like Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, or Takefusa Tubo, none of whom have a past in the youth teams of 'blanos'.
