Waiting for Dragon Ball Super, Toei Animation closed a commercial agreement with Netflix to broadcast Dragon Ball Z. However, the complaints did not take long to arrive. This is because it is not the traditional version but Dragon Ball Z Kai.
This anime has the original story that we saw years ago but that premiered in 2009 as a renewal of Akira Toriyama's work. Several chapters were condensed to make it much shorter and new themes were added for the 'opening' and 'ending' songs.
According to ANMTV Brasil, it will arrive on November 15 on Netflix. But this version may conflict with your memories. The dubbing was one of the biggest problems for the production in 2009.
The actors Mario Castañeda (Goku, Bardock), Carlos Segundo(Piccolo, Kamisama, Mr. Popo), René García (Vegeta), Laura Torres (Gohan) and Ricardo Hill (Kaiosama, Sr. Brief, Kiwi, Gurdo, Android No. 19) did not agree to work on the Latin Spanish version because they were not wanted to be paid the same as they were paid for Dragon Ball Z. So we will have to settle for a completely different version of Goku.
Below we share a comparative video of both versions.
