With the aim of being taken into account again in the Peruvian National Team, Sergio Peña continues to deliver good performances in Dutch football. This time, the former Alianza Lima player scored a great goal for the agonizing victory (2-1) of FC Emmen against Sittard on matchday 10 of the Eredivisie.
The 24-year-old midfielder, who started as a starter and played until the 90th minute, appeared near the end of the match. He received a pass from Ferhat Gorgulu, turned to find his best profile, and took an impossible shot for the opposing goalkeeper.

Peña's spectacular goal at 82' lifted all the Emmen fans from their seats. The joy of the fans was justified as the team of the Peruvian midfielder now has 10 points and moves away from the relegation spots in the Netherlands.
This is the second goal that Sergio Peña has scored for Emmen since his arrival in the last summer transfer window. On October 22, the former Granada player scored against Feyenoord, Renato Tapia's team.
