Gone is the AC Milan that every child in the world supported or wanted to use in the PES or FIFA video game. The Rossoneri team no longer competes at the top of the Italian league table and what it experienced 30 years ago under Silvio Berlusconi's leadership (1986-2016) seems like a dream: eight league titles, five Champions Leagues, three Intercontinental Cups, and much more. Good times with Kaká, Shevchenko, Seedorf, Pirlo, and company.

Now, with Milan immersed in a new sporting crisis - currently thirteenth in Serie A - which has led to the dismissal of coach Giampaolo, 'Il Cavaliere' has reappeared to solve the Rossoneri's current problems.

The former president is clear in his message. "How to bring back the great Milan of the past? The solution is easy, but at the same time difficult to achieve: give the club back to Silvio Berlusconi," he said to 'TeleLombardia'.

Berlusconi, who sold the club to a Chinese consortium before Elliott Management, heavily criticized Ivan Gazidis. The new CEO of Milan stated that the club "was bankrupt" and that "they avoided relegation to Serie D". "There are phrases that one should only utter if they go to the bathroom and close the door first," said 'Il Cavaliere'. Will it come back into Silvio's hands again?

AC Milan's Present

In seven matches played in the Italian league, AC Milan has achieved three victories and four defeats. Unlike Juventus, who have six wins and one draw, the Rossoneri find themselves in the Titanic this season: there is no way to save them and reach Europa League spots.

Without great players in the squad, that seems to be Milan's current place: fighting for mid-table or lower positions. Impossible to compete with 'Vecchia Signora', Inter Milan, Napoli, and Roma.
