Martin Odegaard has been one of the revelations of the Liga Santander during its first eight matches. The Norwegian midfielder has been an important contribution in the attack of Real Sociedad with his passes and goals, helping his team to be in fifth place in the table with thirteen points.
However, the truth is that Martin Odegaard still belongs to Real Madrid and keeps in touch with the institution presided by Florentino Pérez. This was revealed by the 20-year-old midfielder in an interview with 'Eurosport Norway', where he states that he has received congratulations from the club, although he assures that he is very happy at Real Sociedad.
"I have contact with Real Madrid, sometimes they write to me and tell me how they see me. They have congratulated me and praised my good start in the Liga Santander, they have told me that they are happy with me. However, the idea is to respect the loan from Real Sociedad. I am happy in the team and I want to continue like this," he said.
Since his arrival at Real Madrid in 2014, Martin Odegaard has been loaned to different clubs such as Heerenveen and Vitesse in the Netherlands. Real Sociedad is the first Spanish team he is loaned to and with whom he accumulates minutes continuously in the Liga Santander.
