Berlin -
The coach of Germany, Joachim Löw, confirmed Manuel Neuer as his starting goalkeeper and called up midfielder Nadiem Amiri from Bayer Leverkusen for the matches against Argentina and Estonia.
Löw said on Friday that Marc-André ter Stegen, the goalkeeper of FC Barcelona, will play in the friendly against Argentina in Dortmund next Wednesday and Neuer will be in goal for the Euro qualifying match in Tallinn, Estonia, four days later.
Ter Stegen has expressed his dissatisfaction with being the substitute after his magnificent performances with the Spanish League champion.

However, Bayern president Uli Hoeness threatened not to release club players to the national team if Neuer loses his starting position.
"We should all be happy that we have two world-class goalkeepers in Manuel Neuer and Marc-André ter Stegen," said Löw. "I have no concerns in this position, and we also know what (backup goalkeepers) Kevin Trapp and Bernd Leno can contribute."
"I have repeatedly said that Manuel Neuer is our captain and number one for the Euro, unless something extraordinary happens," he added.

Amiri has stood out at the start of the season with Leverkusen. The 22-year-old midfielder has scored six goals in 24 matches with the U21 national team.
Trapp, Leroy Sané, Antonio Rüdiger, Leon Goretzka, Nico Schulz, Julian Draxler, and Thilo Kehrer were ruled out for both matches due to injuries.
Germany leads Group C with a better goal difference over Ireland, with 12 points after five matches. Netherlands has accumulated nine points in four matches. Estonia sits at the bottom of the table with zero points.
