Marcelo out for Saturday's match against Granada

The Brazilian Marcelo will be absent for Saturday's League match against Granada after suffering a new injury, a strain in the hamstrings of his right leg, leaving Zinedine Zidane without left backs, due to the absence of Frenchman Ferland Mendy and Nacho Fernandez as well.

"After the tests carried out on Marcelo by the medical team of Real Madrid, a strain in the hamstrings of his right leg has been diagnosed. Pending evolution," reads the statement released by the club.

Marcelo returned to the pitch in the second half of last Tuesday's Champions League match against Brugge at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, recently recovered from a cervical injury. After playing just 45 minutes, he suffered a muscular injury that keeps him out of the game again.
