An unprecedented event occurred at Nice a few days ago: newly arrived Ajax forward Kasper Dolberg had reported the theft of his 70,000 euros watch. While the player himself did not pay much attention to it, the French club initiated an internal investigation and the result was much more surprising than expected.
According to the French newspaper L'Equipe, these investigations revealed that the responsible for this robbery had been Lamine Diaby-Fadiga, an 18-year-old forward who belonged to Nice's reserve team. Faced with this accusation, the French footballer admitted his responsibility and returned the watch to Danish player Kasper Dolberg.
Although Lamine Diaby-Fadiga admitted to participating in this event and even apologized to Kasper Dolberg, Nice immediately took action by rescinding the contract that linked him to the club. Now, it is mentioned in French lands that he is about to sign with Paris FC in Ligue 2.
On the other hand, the theft of his watch has not been a problem for Kasper Dolberg in his first games with Nice. In four matches with the French club in Ligue 1, the 21-year-old striker has scored two goals and is the top scorer.
